That is how I believe a language should be learned: not in a classroom, but in an Italian home, with an Italian teacher, at your own pace. You live with your teacher, take one-to-one lessons at home, and spend the rest of the day in Italian.

When you stay with one of our teachers, the language is everywhere: in the kitchen, at the market, in the conversation at dinner, in the evening walk. You share the meals with your host, you take one-to-one lessons built on your level and your goals, and you practise all day without noticing.

Culture and taste
If you add General Activities, you do them with your host: cooking, the local market, a typical village, a local festival. In many cities there is also a set of Cultural Visits, accompanied and with the costs included; where you are, you decide with your host. Excursions such as a wine tasting tour or an evening at the opera can be added too.
How the week works
You have your own room in your teacher’s home, with three meals a day. You arrive on a Sunday and leave on a Saturday, at any time of year. You choose from 10 to 30 hours of lessons a week; with 10 hours, activities or cultural visits come with the lessons. It is for adults who have always wanted to learn Italian, for people who are retired and finally have the time, and for teenagers too.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the region?
Tell me what kind of place you like: a big city, the sea, a quieter town. The right host matters more than the exact region, so if you give me two or three areas I can find you a better match.
Can a teenager come on their own?
Yes. Under 18, we always add activities or visits to the lessons, so part of their days is spent with their host; under 16 we arrange the airport transfer, unless you are bringing them yourselves, and under 13 an adult is always with them.
