What exactly is a total immersion language stay?
It means living at the home of a certified teacher, receiving private tailored lessons, and practicing the language daily through meals, activities, and real-life interactions with the host family.
How many hours of lessons are included each week?
You can choose between 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 hours of private lessons per week, all fully adapted to your level and learning goals.
Can I add activities to my program?
Yes, you can enhance your stay with cultural, general, or sports activities. All activities are carried out with your teacher or another adult in the household to ensure continuous language immersion.
Who is the program for? Is there an age limit?
The program is open to everyone: children (from age 8), teenagers, adults, and seniors. There is no maximum age limit.
What is the minimum duration of the stay?
The minimum duration is one week, from Sunday to Saturday. You can extend the stay for several weeks based on availability.
Where will I stay during the program?
You will stay in your teacher’s home, in a private bedroom with full board. A private bathroom is available on request with a supplement.
Can I share the experience with someone else?
Yes, with the Duo option, you can share the lessons and accommodation with a friend or family member of a similar level. Both participants receive a 20% discount.
Can I travel with a companion?
Yes, we can arrange accommodation for a non-participating companion (parent, partner, etc.) for an additional fee.
What about special dietary needs?
Families can adapt meals to your needs: allergies, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. Just let us know during the booking process.
Can I participate during Christmas or New Year?
Yes, programs are available all year round, including during the festive season (with an extra fee for holiday weeks).
Are online lessons available before or after the stay?
Yes, a 10-hour online lesson package with the same teacher is available before or after your stay to help you prepare or consolidate learning.
Is airport or station transfer included?
A transfer service (one-way or round trip) can be arranged for an additional cost depending on your arrival location.
Can I book extra nights?
Yes, you can request additional nights, subject to host availability. This should be arranged at the time of booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation conditions vary depending on the notice period. Full details will be provided in your quote. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Do I receive a certificate at the end of the stay?
Yes, on request we issue a certificate of participation indicating the number of lessons and the level reached.
Do you offer programs for professionals or companies?
Yes, we offer tailored programs for professionals with content focused on business language, sector-specific vocabulary, or exam preparation.
Can I prepare for a language exam?
Yes, many of our teachers are qualified to help you prepare for certifications like IELTS, TOEFL, DELF, and others.
Is the program suitable for learners with special needs?
Yes, on request we can arrange stays for learners with educational or medical needs. Each case is reviewed individually.
